About the Event
Local 10 News is opening its doors to inspire the next generation of journalists, and our students get a front-row pass! This student-only field trip is open to grades 5th through 12th who are curious about journalism and media careers.
Parents, please note: due to limited space (20 participants max), this event is strictly for students—drop-off only.
During this exciting, one-hour visit, students will:
Explore the newsroom, engineering wing, weather and traffic offices.
Learn how stories move from the assignment desk to scriptwriting and on-air delivery.
See meteorologists prepare forecasts and understand the science behind weather reporting.
