About the Event
Surf Skate Science is a homeschool STEAM focused co-op program for 3rd - 12th graders. Each class consists of a project based learning lab followed by some time in the water or in the skatepark. Parent participations is required. Read our FAQs for more details.
Fall 2025 term, Surf Skate Science is taking you behind the scenes of the careers shaping the sports you love. From designing high-performance skate shoes and helmets to keeping our oceans clean for generations to come, we’ll explore the science, engineering, art, and innovation that fuel action sports.
We’ve lined up some of the top scientists, pro athletes, artists, photographers, designers, and industry leaders to show you what it takes to turn passion into a career. Whether you dream of building skateparks, shaping surfboards, protecting coral reefs, or capturing the perfect action shot, this semester will open your eyes to careers you never even knew…

Weekly - Work on your own scheduleOnline Course - You make the scheduleWe are inviting all homeschoolers to join us this semester in being an everglades explorer. Lessons are available for grade K-8 and can be done at your own pace. Share photos of you doing the lessons to be entered each month to win a prize. We will be posting new lessons each Monday.
