About the Event
Join us for an exciting online event as we dive into the world of shoe engineering, fashion innovation, and STEAM-based careers! This event is specially geared toward middle and high school students looking to explore creative and sustainable career paths in fashion.
We’re thrilled to welcome back Ashley Redway, a former Surf Skate Science student, college grad in Fashion Merchandising and recipient of the Virgil Abloh Post Modern scholarship and WHP Global Anne Klein future icon award. Ashley will share her inspiring journey from designing sustainable skate shoes (inspired by her brother whom some o you may know - Gareth) to interning at the iconic Louis Vuitton in New York City. Ashley is now the Retail Training Coordinator at Bvlgari. Discover how her passion for skateboarding and sustainability paved the way for her career in fashion, and gain insider insights into her experiences at one of the world’s leading fashion houses.
