Date: Thursday, May 27, 2021
Time: 9 - 11 AM
Participants will enjoy a guided snorkel along a series of artificial reefs off Boynton Beach. Highlights of this trip include beautiful water, a variety of marine life and numerous sea shells.
Snorkel Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced
All ages are welcome to attend. All participants must be strong swimmers or wear appropriate flotation devices as the artificial reefs are approximately 150 yards away from shore. Participants must bring their own mask, snorkel and swim fins. Please note that swim fins are not normally allowed during Saltwater Studies snorkel events as they can become a safety issue in large groups. However, they will be beneficial for this location. Children under 13 years old must be accompanied and supervised by a parent during the snorkel. Participants will meet in front of the marina building at Boynton Beach Inlet Park located at 6990 North Ocean Boulevard, Boynton Beach, FL 33435. Participants must bring their own water and snacks.
Extra Expenses: None. There is no park entrance fee.
Saltwater Studies’ biblically-based events include a discussion on both biological information as well as how we can see the character of God in Creation. Secular events focus on biological information only.
