Join Sea the Reef for a day at the Marine Lab in Key Largo. To participate you must be at least 14 years old and complete paperwork for the Marine Lab and the Deerfield Beach Teen Center. Space is limited and FREE thanks to grant funding. Lunch and transportation provided.

About the Event
Join Sea the Reef for a day at the Marine Lab in Key Largo. To participate you must be at least 14 years old and complete paperwork for the Marine Lab and the Deerfield Beach Teen Center. Space is limited, geared to new snorkelers and first timers and FREE thanks to grant funding to make the trip asseciable to all. Lunch and transportation provided.
Marine Lab Program Description: Let’s go snorkeling! This program includes a lab activity on invertebrate diversity, snorkel training and snorkeling in our protected mangrove lagoon, and a field trip on our US Coast Guard boat out to the coral reefs of the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary! Our marine science instructors guide and guard your students at every step. Mask, fins, snorkel, and snorkel vest are included.
Times: 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Student must complete:
1. Deerfield Beach Teen Center Registration - Registration required. Please go to www.dfb.city/registration and log into your CivicRec Account. If you don't have one, create an account as the parent/guardian and then add your teen to the household. Next, click on the Activities tab, scroll down to Teen Programming, and click on the Sea The Reef to register. Don't forget to sign their waiver too. If you would like assistance, call us at 954-571-4568.
