Surf Skate Science Summer Skate School is an action-packed, hands-on experience where students build confidence, friendships, and real-world skills — all through skateboarding, creativity, and adventure.

​

In partnership with Island Camps, families have the option for convenient pick-up and drop-off from Island Water Sports in Deerfield Beach or Pompano, or direct drop-off at The Lab in Oakland Park.

But this isn’t just a skate camp. Each week, students explore:

• The physics of skateboarding (speed, force, gravity, balance)

• Creative design challenges

• Engineering mini builds

• Environmental science connections

• Team-building games and leadership skills

• Goal setting, resilience, and confidence development

 

Whether your child is brand new to skateboarding or already comfortable on a board, our program meets them where they are. We focus on safety, progression, and helping every student grow — not just as skaters, but as thinkers and problem-solvers. We believe summer should be active, inspiring, and meaningful. This is where fun meets purpose.
