About the Event
Skateboarding has always been deeply connected to art, music and fashion. Did you know that computer engineering is critical to making music? Have you ever thought that be learning coding that you could be the next famous music producer? Pharrell Williams, Amazon Future Engineer, and Georgia Tech invite you to Your Voice Is Power, a modular learning experience and competition that provides real-world exploration of the ways music, computer science, and entrepreneurship can be tools to advance equity. This class is perfect for students in middle and high school, but any age can participate.
Using Georgia Tech’s EarSketch you will code to a music platform, creating remixes to Pharrell’s song Entrepreneur. Plus you can win $5,000 in prizes.
