About the Event
Get ready for an unforgettable day of adventure and learning at Biscayne National Park! Imagine your student stepping into the shoes of a marine scientist, exploring the hidden wonders of the ocean right in their backyard. The Biscayne Explorer program offers an incredible opportunity for students to dive into hands-on activities, from studying microscopic plankton in a lab to catching fish in the crystal-clear waters of Biscayne Bay. This ranger-led experience is more than just a field trip—it's a chance for your child to discover the natural world and ignite their passion for marine science. This trip is for grades 3rd and up. We have spots for 50 students but only 2 parent chaperones. Parents who are not chaperones may stay and explore the park while their student participates in the program. Students must be in at least 3rd grade to participate.
