About the Event
👥 Limit: 25 participants per expedition
📌 Ages: Open to parents and students ages 8 and up (Students under 15 must be accompanied by a paid adult participant)
🔬 Dive into Real-World Science!
Join us for a one-of-a-kind, hands-on shark research expedition aboard a working research vessel! In partnership with Nova Southeastern University and the Guy Harvey Foundation, participants will team up with top marine scientists to study sharks in the wild Atlantic waters just off Port Everglades.
You’ll learn how to safely catch, measure, tag, and collect DNA and other scientific data on sharks—helping with real conservation work happening right now. Between research sets, you’ll even have the chance to snorkel in the open ocean!
