About the Event
PLEASE NOTE: THIS TRIP IS LIMITED TO 15 STUDENTS AND THEIR PARENTS. PLEASE REGISTER STUDENTS ONLY SO THAT WE CAN KEEP COUNT.
Join us on August 9th at The House of Genius at 10 am and meet Artist Brian Poli-Dixon. He will share how his passion for creativity and discipline from sports have allowed him to become a globally successful artist.
Please note that this is a private and active art gallery of a world-recognized artist. Parents are responsible for keeping a close eye on their students. Students will have an opportunity to meet the artist and hear how he got started. They can also bring a sketchbook and draw as they get inspired by his art. Additionally, Surf Skate Science will provide worksheets to take home and explore their creativity and inspiration after the event.
Brian has a unique story of loving art as a kid, getting signed as a professional football player, and then returning to his first love of art after an injury on the field. His love of sports and the discipline he learned on and off the field have contributed to his success as an artist.
