Explore The “A” in STEAM: a creative online program where students discover how art and design connect with science, surfing, skateboarding, history, and hands-on problem solving. This course focuses on the intersection of art, design, and the science behind them, specifically within the world of surfing and skateboarding. Designed for students from 3rd to 12th grade, the curriculum explores the technical and creative processes used in action sports. Participants will examine how scientific principles inform artistic choices and drive innovation in equipment design. Through twelve open-ended modules, students move from understanding theoretical concepts to applying them in hands-on creative challenges, culminating in a comprehensive portfolio of work that bridges the gap between STEM and the arts.
